Robin Campbell is a registered Psychologist in Alberta, Canada with 20+ years of clinical experience. He has worked in a variety of treatment settings including domestic violence prevention and private practice. His therapeutic training has included somatic and mindfulness-based therapies including: Yoga Therapy, Hakomi, EMDR, and Natural Processing.

For the past decade, Robin has studied Natural Processing (NP) with the support and guidance of Craig Penner. This study has allowed Robin to further develop his skills in somatic, process oriented therapy and has enabled him to support clients working through a variety of challenging, process-based dynamics. Through his use of NP, Robin has learned to track client’s presence and monitor client’s resilience – necessary components of understanding and working ahrough difficult material. In addition, Robin uses NP to support clients in developing their own awareness of process-based dynamics which not only stop them from facing their presenting problems but prevent them from resolving their issues. Robin is continuously impressed by the impact of NP on his confidence as a therapist and the progress of his clients.

At present, Robin is an NP Training assistant, who offers consultation to NP trainees. He is excited to meet you!

Katherine Rosenstein

I am registered with the collage of Alberta Psychologists # 4254 and with the International Association of Yoga Therapists.

I have been working in the helping profession for over 25 years and am passionate about supporting people through transformation. I believe that everyone has the innate capacity for healing. My role is to assist clients in gaining discernment through awareness so they can live more fully in the present moment.

I specialize in working with clients who have experienced trauma. My expertise as a yoga therapist has gifted me a deep understanding of how mindfulness can truly change how we  relate to the world.  I have also found a passion in studying Peruvian shamanic practices and weave this into my work as well.

Karen Sabourin

Registered Psychologist, NP Assistant and Consultant

Calgary, Alberta

I am a Registered Psychologist in the province of Alberta, Canada. While I now work exclusively in private practice, I have experience working in a variety of settings including post secondary, non-profit, and as part of a multidisciplinary team in a semi-private healthcare setting. This variety has given me a unique breadth of experience. My current areas of focus are developmental trauma, chronic illness and relationships/couples.

Taking my first Natural Processing training with Craig Penner in 2018 was like finding my clinical home. It threaded together all the pieces of other trainings I had taken and added a process focused lens. I was so impressed with its impact on my clinical work that I completed levels 1 thru 6 by 2020.  Becoming an assistant in the NP trainings was a natural next step. I believe that the ability to connect in meaningful ways to our self and others is central to our sense of wellbeing. Natural Processing has been pivotal in helping me refine the support I offer to clients and track it’s effectiveness throughout the therapeutic process which in turn supports my overall view of supporting connection to self and other while navigating the complexities that come up along the way.

I’ve been a human development specialist for over 25 years, helping others facilitate transformation through body-oriented counseling and coaching. Achieving my license in 1999, my experience spans across healing trauma, sports psychology, neurodiversity, holistic health, and more. I'm licensed in CA, CO, NC and AZ.

With ample experience in the field and alongside Craig in NP trainings since 2015, I’ve seen firsthand the profound impact that experiential, process-oriented somatic therapy can have on our lives. My aim is to create an immersive experience that assists clients and professionals to more deeply connect with themselves, embrace our bodies innate healing capabilities, and build capacity and resilience to navigate life’s challenges.

In recent years, I’ve grown exceptionally passionate about helping fellow counselors and coaches reap the same benefits from our work that our clients do. As we grow as clinicians, then our clients benefit from our abilities to "trust the process." I would be honored to help you grow as a practitioner through professional consultation and collaboration.

I stumbled onto Craig’s Natural Process trainings by accident.  I had done some personal work with a therapist who practiced sensorimotor psychotherapy and found it quite helpful, and, as a result, I started to look for trainings that would allow me to incorporate a somatic focus into my work as an EMDR therapist.  I attended the NP 1 training in October of 2015.  As I sat and listened to Craig talk about the window of tolerance and tracking resiliency in the moment, it all made sense.  This is why EMDR did not work for some of my clients.  No matter how many targets we tackled, their depression, anxiety and other trauma-related symptoms didn’t get any better.

NP has been personally and professionally transformative for me and my clients.  It has offered a new lens through which to view the difficulties my clients bring to therapy and, most importantly, has also offered a new level of healing.

Since my initial training with Craig in 2015, I have attended NP 1-6 and have repeated NP1 and NP2. I have also participated in monthly consultation with Craig and became one of his training assistants in 2020.

I have private practice in San Antonio, Texas in which I work with adults and complex trauma.  In my free time I enjoy writing, gardening and pug ranching.
