NP 1: Integrating Somatic Psychotherapy with EMDR
A somatically based, process-orientation to therapy that expands on EMDR and the use of bilateral stimulation
What is NP?
“Natural processing," or NP, is a somatically-based, process-oriented therapy. This emerged from the integration of many approaches to healing and growth, and 4 decades of learning from clients. This therapy is based on observations of how our nature works to access people’s existing potentials to process issues through to resolution. Use of bilateral stimulation strongly facilitates this process .
Our Trainings
We currently offer 6 levels of in-depth training that are four days each in-person, and six days online. Specific topic-related 2-day trainings are available after taking Natural Processing Part 1.
We keep the trainings small, maximum of 27 participants, to make them intimate. We have daily practicums with personalized feedback, to help therapists truly be able to integrate this work into their practice. These trainings ask for your full engagement, and are not passive workshops. Our purpose is to help make you a better therapist.
For people who have not received prior training in EMDR, we are offering pre-training experiential workshops to provide the necessary background to be able to take advantage of the NP Part 1 training. We evaluate each person’s experience individually to assess their pre-training needs.
Continuing Education Credit Hours offered. Practicum weekends and Consultation Groups are also available.
